Viscon Dua Compact Remote Terminal Unit is a new addition to Viscon Dua Remote Terminal Unit family of products. It is designed for real-time applications using the latest state-of-the-art high-technology for smaller applications such as lighthouse monitoring and plant water-treatment using Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition system (SCADA).

Like the Viscon Dua Remote Terminal Unit, this unit also comprises of a Central Processing Unit (CPU) card and up to three digital/analog I/O cards. Like the VRTU 2, there are three types of I/O cards which are Digital Input (DI), Digital Output (DO) and Analog Input (AI). The easy assembly allows the Compact RTU to be easily configured for small applications like plant water treatment and lighthouse monitoring.

This new serie will eventually replace our former Viscon PD48 product.

The Viscon Dua RTU Compact is designed with built-in-plant interfaces which are optically- and relay-isolated, providing a long-standing performance, robustness and well-protected input/output data entries. This guarantees reliability of RTU throughout its lifetime.
