Viscon Dua RTU

HX-RTC / DCU Modules

The Viscon Dua RTU HX-RTC ( HX Remote Terminal Controller ) is a DCU ( Data concentrator unit ) front-end communication equipment used for  multi-protocol  operations  within a multi-protocol device enviroment. This protocol converter,  HX-RTC complete module, is 100% developed in-house from hardware architecture to its operating software.

Viscon Dua DCU module is our latest product developed to feature capabilities superior than the preceding Viscon Dua HX-RTC.

The Viscon Dua RTU HX-RTC / DCU Module provides flexibility for the following requirement :

  • Handles data communications like databases and local process control to and from devices.
  • Multi-protocol support, data and protocol conversion.
  • Handles RTU addresses using address mapping which is configured through HX-RTC configuration software.
  • Supports GPS connection and TCXO for time synchronization.
  • Connection to intelligent protection relays and associated peripherals for electrical power substations control system.
  • Supports multi-master connectivity with virtual RTU configuration.
  • Supports satellite RTU/sub-master configuration .
  • Supports point-to-point and loop communication configuration.

The Viscon Dua HX-RTC Module is available in two different variants;
  • Viscon Dua HX Remote Terminal Controller (HX-RTC)
  • Viscon Dua HX Data Concentrator Unit (HX-DCU)
